Nina O’Brien is an American ski racer of exceptional talent and experience. She is a force to be reckoned with in the world of expertise-demanding technical events such as giant slalom and slalom. In 2022, O’Brien was chosen to represent her country in the Winter Olympics and made an impressive showing, particularly during the first run of the giant slalom where she placed sixth. Appearing unstoppable, she has earned her position amongst some of the greatest alpine skiers in the world today.
O’Brien had to overcome a compound fracture after the Beijing Olympics, but Nina’s resilience through physical and mental challenges culminated in success at the world 2023 Alpine skiing championships, where the American team achieved gold in the team event.
